Texts between Steve and Tony [Stryker plot]
A series of texts, set before and after Steve and other members of JVX come to Nico's rescue.
Steve:
just got jvx txt
nico/yana kidnapped, yana back, nico still there
going w/ others to retrieve, will txt you when back
I'll be safe. bbl
Tony:
Wait what? What others?
Steve:
jvx. xquis on mission, so we're going

Tony:
DO NOT HEART EMOTICON ME STEVEN WTF TEXT ME THE MINUTE YOU GET BACK
Steve:
I'm back.
I didn't realize you felt so strongly about heart emoticons.
Tony:
You asshole you better be okay
Steve:
I am. I got a little sore, but I'll be fine within the hour.
Sorry for being so abrupt. I was trying to text you while getting dressed.
I'm still not clear on what happened, but some religious gun-nut group kidnapped Illyana and Nico for being mutants. We teleported into their compound, got Nico out, and beat on some of their guards while Kitty checked for more prisoners.
Tony:
Excuse me? Someone SHOT YOU?
Steve:
NO
No. No one shot me. Don't worry. I would have told you if someone shot me.
They had guns, but we were wearing kevlar, and they were so surprised, we were able to get most of the guns off the guards before they even unholstered them.
I'm okay. I'm sore from bruising, but that's not even bad.
No one got shot.
Tony:
Kevlar, jesus.
Okay.
You'd better be telling me the whole story later.
Steve:
There's not really much more of a whole story to tell, that's all I know. We were in and out in 30 min.
I thought I killed a guy. I hit his head on the concrete too hard.
I don't know if he was alright. He was still breathing, but he was bleeding. I think I might have really hurt him, Tony.
I mean, he kidnapped kids and pulled a gun on me. But still.
Can I come there? I don't want to sleep by myself. If you have to work, I can just sleep on the couch.
If that's okay.
Tony:
Don't be an idiot, why were you not coming here in the first place? I already ordered a pizza, better get here quick before I eat it all.
Steve:
Okay.
I thought you probably would be working.
Plus Yana is hurt, and I didn't feel like taking the bus.
Pizza sounds good. I'm really hungry.
I'll ask Kurt if he can teleport me. I know he's done it for other people before.
Tony:
I don't care get over here or you don't get food.
