Now that I've been practicing for awhile, I can see the astral plane almost whenever I want. Including ghosts, and dreams.

Do you sleep? I don't enter people's dreams without an invitation, I'm just curious. Everyone else I've met with astral abilities isn't particularly attached to their physical selves in one way or another, but I can only do it when I'm asleep.
