I have done much research on this Halloween holiday but I still cannot understand why people dress up in ridiculous costumes or why candy is involved. Is this some sort of entertainment? I have celebrated harvest festivals back home, but nothing like this.

Please shed some light on this if you would be so kind, classmates.

I hope I am doing this right. Forgive me, classmates, I am not yet acclimated to all of this new technology.

My name is Amara Juliana Olivans Aquilla, daughter of Lucius Antonius Aquilla, first Senator of Nova Roma. I am 16 years old. I am honored to be your schoolmate and will work hard to be a worthy comrade.
