Hi everyone! My name's Alison Blaire, and I just got here today. Maybe the name's familiar to you, because yeah, I am Dazzler the singer. I love music, and I love to sing more than anything in the world. My parents weren't too happy when they found out about the mutant thing, so here I am. This isn't the best situation, I can tell, but it's best to look on the bright side of stuff, yeah? I mean, there's gotta be one, so I'm going to be optimistic.

I love working out, dancing, rollerskating and fashion. If anyone wants to hang out, I'm game. Oh, and I play some instruments, too! My parents were pretty anti-fun, so I'm looking to change that about my life.

Sooo, what's going on? What do you guys do for fun here?

As my charming roommate would say, welcome to the new hell, Alison. I wouldn't believe it, though. From what I can tell, it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Well, I figure that I should actually look around before getting totally brought down by this place. I mean, I have really sucky reasons for being here, but you might as well make the best of it!

What do you do for fun around here?

I'm probably not the best person to ask. Apparently, I'm not exactly the life of the party. There are plenty of activities, though. There's a stable and horseback riding, a lake, pool, basketball courts, and a nice garden. The library's well-stocked and quiet, and the rec room has the latest in technology.

Salem Center is not that far away if you ever need to shop for anything.

Have you been here long?

Almost three weeks, I guess. I was one of the first students to arrive.

What kind of powers do you have?

[om_touchstone]

Ah... difficult to explain. If I touch a person or animal, I can tell their medical status and things like pulse rate and temperature.

Whoa, that's totally intense. Really unique, though.

Nothing like being able to create lightshows, I'll admit.

I'll have to show you sometime, if you're ever bored. I can make some real fireworks.

From what I've read, there are a few of the kids here with musical and theatrical talent. You should put on a show.

Yeah, I've seen that. It seems like a really cool bunch of kids got these gifts.

Well, I wouldn't go THAT far.

Well maybe there's some moody pessimists, but everyone seems pretty okay.
