Hiya everyone,
I know we've had some new students lately, so let me introduce myself. My name is Alison Blaire--or Dazzler, if you want to call me that. I've worked all my life to be a popstar, and I'm just about to release my second album. I've had powers for a few years now, and along with Jean-Paul and Jeanne-Marie Beaubier, I will be making that fact known to the public very soon. Warren made a brief mention of this on
the post he made awhile back, but since the end of August is nearing, I thought I'd post a reminder and a heads up about it.
Like a lot of people, I don't enjoy hiding my powers. I've hidden my mutation for years, and I'm more than ready to put a stop to that. I have the ability to turn sound into light, and hiding that light can be very hard on me physically. I've thought over the risks and consequences of this, and I've watched closely to everything that's happened so far. I've prepared in every possible way I can, and I feel ready for this. The thing is, I'm a celebrity who has been disowned by their parents, and if I don't do this myself, then
they will, and they'll make money off of it. This way, I do it on my own terms, and my parents make no more money from me than they already have. That said, we all have our own personal reasons for doing this, and it hasn't been a light decision in the least.
On August 31st, the three of us will be announcing to the world that we're mutants. I have an MTV special scheduled that day to help launch my new album, and that's where we'll be making our announcement. I know the impact won't be
as big considering we won't be the first mutants to do this, but we still have the fame and privilege of bringing more awareness to our cause. We want to do everything we can.
And of course, School safety is a number one priority, and I will be leaving for a little while to make sure no one tracks me back here. I will take all the necessary steps to make it so this school remains the safe place it's been for all of us. And if anyone has questions, I'll do my best to answer them properly.
♥ Thank-you,
Alison Blaire
