I never figured out what I wanted to be when I grow up. After this weekend, it's kind of even harder to think about it. I mean, we might not. Grow up, that is.

Maybe it's because of that that I started to actually think about it. I'm trying to picture myself as an adult. What would I be doing? Where would I live? What kind of things would I want to have in my life?

It's harder than I thought. So, figured I would ask all of you: what do you want to be when you're grown? Who do you want to be when you're grown?

Fucked if I know now. I thought I had at least another ten years before I started having to consider a second career option.

Did you ever want to do anything alongside compete? Like have a family or get married? (It's legal in Canada, right?)

I wanted to pursue being a musician, but I don't think I will anymore. My backup was to teach music, so maybe that. I guess it depends on what happens in the next couple years.

You sort've taught me how to dance so I think you would be a great teacher! What made you change your mind?

My immediate goals remain unchanged: I shall continue to expand my knowledge- and skill-bases, and explore other promising paths to self-improvement. Ideally, I suppose I would wish to retain some affiliation with the Institute, perhaps to assist with the identification and training of other young mutants.

Did you want to do anything else before you came here? I mean, beyond just "I want to live until tomorrow," because that's about as far as I ever got.

Originally, I wanted to be a trauma surgeon. I spoke to Moira this morning about working more in the lab, though, to learn more about mutant biology and genetics. I'm not sure what I'll be doing down the line, but it seems like a more useful line of study.

Mutants need doctors too, right? You might not get very famous being a doctor for mutants though.

We're gonna grow up, Felix. Just maybe a little faster than expected, is all. Most of us here already have experience with that, so hey, nothing new.

Honestly, next week feels like a long term goal for me, but even before the superspeed kicked in I wasn't the king of the grand plan. I had this dream and that, as a kid, but I guess I'm kinda with Tessa in that I just want to be a better version of me, basically.

Whatever I am, I don't wanna be made to feel like I should apologize for it.

I don't know. Philip is probably going to frown if he sees this, but, planning for the future seems... kind of like maybe not the smartest thing to do.

But anyway if we're going to dream, dream big. I think you should be some kind of rock star. OR a spy because 'Pietro Maximoff' already sounds like a cool spy name.

I have no furture plan either. I figure if I don't expect anything then whatever I get I'll appreciate and be grateful of. I mean, who would employ me looking the way I do? My options are pretty limited...

What did you want to be before you were green? What about stuff that isn't about having a job?

Like, I think I would like to live in a big city if I could ever have my own apartment or something.

I kind've didn't expect to make it to 15 so 25 would be like some kind of miracle.

I've kind of been thinking that if I'm not going to be free then I'm not so sure about the other thing. But my roommate might get pissed if he hears that.
