[Public] Journal Entry: Institute Announcements, 6/24/14

Students,

This morning, a study will be published in the journal, Science, detailing mine and Headmaster Xavier's research on the genetics of powered individuals colloquially known as mutants. This study includes the names of some of your classmates and those individuals who have come out publicly with information about their abilities. We will begin teaching this information in Biology classes starting in the new school year, but should any of you, including alumni, have any questions for myself or Headmaster Xavier, please feel free to see either of us during our office hours. We will also be available all day today for spur of the moment questions. We have created information packets as well, which will be emailed to each student and alumnus. I assure each and every one of you that no information was used in this study without prior authorization, and no one will be outed that did not already agree to be. Again, we are available to answer any questions you may have.

Relative to the announcements and news stories today on Dr. MacTaggart's genetic study, if anyone would like to speak to me about it, or if anyone is interested in knowing their X-genetic type, I can attempt to tell you. I can probably only scan one person per day, though, so please let me know if you are interested so we can set up a date and time.
