Subject: LXQ and JVX Body Armor
Hi guys!
Some of you may know, but for the past six months or so, I've been working on body armor for the teams! Some of the JVX crew may have seen (or worn) my prototypes on one of our recent rescues. The product is about as finished as it is going to get, without me continuously updating and improving it (which I'll probably do anyway), soooo this is a heads up to say, hey, you're getting body armor.
This means that Magik and I want to get your ideas for what you would like your armor to look like. It's all gonna be made of the same material, and will generally be the same style. They'll have to be mostly black, with an X somewhere on the armor - that's Scott's call, because as much as it's body armor, it's also kind of a uniform too. However, there's a lot of room for creative license, so email me back and let me know what you'd like yours to look like, and maybe we can set up a time to take measurements and work out the details!
Oh hey, and if you have questions, those too.

I'll be spending the night in the city Monday after the Stark funeral. I'll meet you with the necessary badge and clearance information in the main lobby of the Oscorp building at 10am on Tuesday morning.
A few points that I'd rather not make on the Oscorp premises. If any of them freak you out, I'll be available via email/text and on the phone all day. Please don't hesitate to ask your questions before you arrive.
-Odds are good that no one will bother to ask you what you're up to, since they'll think it's some absurd 'school project' or that you're one of the interns. However, if you do come across one of my father's scientist-lackeys and they ask, just to be clear: you're not there for Oscorp, but because you're my guest. You have access to what you need, no questions asked from me, let alone anyone else. The less you tell anyone attached to the corporation, the better. I doubt I need to tell you why corporate drones are not on the 'need to know' list.
If there's any particular Oscorp scientist you think would be helpful to your work, or if you want me to try and gain better access to whatever work he's had them do already, let me know. I think you'll have an instinctively better grasp of it than they could attain in several lifetimes, but I'll try and get you anything you need, including consults.
Full access to work already done might not be possible for me yet. I doubt, however, that it'll be that long.
-I'll be with you tomorrow, but on future visits, you won't want to wait around for me. Attached you'll find the contact information for Felicia, my father's PA, but also a personal friend. She knows to get you anything you need, and to contact me to make sure everything is cleared immediately.
There are some places you won't be allowed into, but I'm sure that won't surprise you, with the kind of high-stakes R&D Oscorp does. Not much I can do about that til Oscorp is mine. Just age-wise, that'll be a few years, so no point waiting around for it.
-And finally, just to reiterate, you should feel free to ask for and use facilities for all of your projects. I'm familiar enough with research and development to know that focusing on one project at all times doesn't necessarily make it move faster. Whatever I have access to is at your disposal for what you need. I'm grateful for your willingness to help me with what I need.

I don't think I will see you today, so I will put what I want to say in this note. This year has been the best I have had, not only meeting my brother but seeing him happy here with his friends, and with you. Meeting you and River has been important to me, too. Any family would be lucky to have you and I am glad mine and yours are close.
I know I haven't always been kind to you and I hope you know I regret that, still. I have come to understand you and appreciate you for the strong, trustworthy person you are and my brother likes so well. You and River deserve everything good in life and I hope we can help you find it.

I wrote mom and dad today from your email account. They were calling your phone and I knew they just needed to hear from you. I don't think they would know whether it was me or you writing anyway. I hate lying to them, but they wouldn't understand, and. And I'm going to bring you home.
I'm going to bring you home, mei-mei.
I know you're going to read this and you're going to make a face at how morose and dramatic it is. I know you're going to hug me and make some kind of patronizing statement about my hair or the bags under my eyes.
I don't care. I just need to write this. And, I suppose, when I bring you home, you'll need to read it.
I miss you. I miss you so much. I never quite understood when people talked about loss. Trying to explain it away with metaphors like holes in the heart and missing limbs doesn't even begin to touch on the pain I'm feeling. Every day, I wake up, and if I'm not awoken by nightmares, there's that one brief moment where I think the world is okay. Then I realize that you're not there and the pain returns so violently that I feel like I need to be sick.
Jean-Paul and I celebrated for you today. I guess we felt like something had to be done, even if you weren't here. We had homemade Chinese food and vodka. It didn't get me nearly as drunk as I wanted to be.
I haven't told anyone else. I don't want them to pity me or...I don't know. But I will tell them, when I bring you home, and you'll have the birthday that you deserve.
I'm going to bring you home. No matter what it takes.

With guidance from Simon, I am putting together a team of people who can get through large amounts of information, primarily via computer (and, more specifically, the internet) to help search for River and Laura. I'm emailing you all because you are able to get through and analyze large data sets competently and quickly. If you are working on something else, don't spread yourself too thin; doing one job perfectly is better than being mediocre at two.
Simon has gone through a number of photographs available from the concert as well as some Facebook photographs of the attendees. As far as I can tell, there weren't any security cameras. But I'm not an expert. This might be more efficient with a facial-recognition system, but I don't know how to make one. If one of you can, that would be very useful, however anything that comes up as even a 25% match should go through one of us.
You are under no obligation to help, but it would be appreciated if you did. Please respond ASAP if you wish to be included, and I will send you what Simon has found so far as a starting point. I will created an open spreadsheet on the school's system so that everyone can keep the others apprised of their progress so that we aren't needlessly duplicating efforts.
