Simon showed me what you wrote for him on his birthday. I really can't tell you how thrilled I was to read it. I know you probably did it for him more than me and I'm glad of that; I'd far rather have him appreciated for all his good qualities than tolerated for mine. He and River have had a horrible year and they're not even going to see their parents for the holidays. I know your acceptance meant a lot to him. It meant a lot to me too, to see one more weight taken off of his shoulders.
