Hello everyone!

So, this email is to inform you that you have been selected to beta test a new online community for mutants that X-statiX will be hosting. Panax asked Cypher and I to build something secure (and aesthetic and fun) for not only all mutants (the public side), but also for students and alumni of Xavier's (the private side).

You have all had usernames and passwords created for you, and shortly, I'll be sending out private emails to each one of you with that information along with the links you'll need. Go ahead and feel free to begin testing posts, exploring the profile options, and fiddling with anything you think needs more work. Anyone that wants to try and break the encryption and security, go for it. We need this community to be as secure as possible.

With Cherry Bomb's assistance, I have ascertained the location of a Facility-sponsored research laboratory. This presents an opportunity to acquire intelligence on the organization's extent, objectives, and research data, the first truly promising lead we have had in months. Infiltrating the site will require careful planning and skilled execution, however, and I write to you all now to request assistance in the former regard.

I ask that you respond with all possible haste. There is no way to predict when the cell presently under surveillance will relocate, or what new front they might adopt to conceal their operations. I am already working on obtaining a floor plan for the building, and assembling whatever other observational data might prove pertinent.

I do not think this is an opportunity we can afford to overlook.

Hey guys,

As I told Warren, I support what you’re all doing and I’m definitely not gonna tell you to sit down, shut up, and get back in this nice, cramped closet, but I do have a few questions and concerns. I’m not expecting an answer to this or anything, I just want to put these things out there so I know someone’s considering it.

1) What assurance do we have that someone isn’t going to find the school after you come out? You’re all famous to begin with and this is only going to make you more famous. You’ll be all over the news and just about everyone is going to be able to recognize your face--This includes people who live in town. Not only does this mean that all it will take is the wrong person asking the right questions to the wrong people to figure out where you are, it also means that if someone were to recognize you and follow you they’d be able to find the school pretty easily. One suspicious person is all it takes.

2) Have you thought about what will happen once you go into public after this? The attention won’t let up for awhile and you’ll be facing questions all the time. And again, won’t people be suspicious that all of the mutants who came out are often seen in the same area?

3) What about other students? Anyone who is seen with you will be expected of being a mutant, whether they’re ready to come out or not, and you can bet journalists will be all over investigating that shit. Never mind the Facility.

4) What about families? Yours, those of the people who are seen hanging around you... People will question them. Have they been prepared? What about the families who don’t know their kids are at mutant school? What if they are questioned?

Hello,

With guidance from Simon, I am putting together a team of people who can get through large amounts of information, primarily via computer (and, more specifically, the internet) to help search for River and Laura. I'm emailing you all because you are able to get through and analyze large data sets competently and quickly. If you are working on something else, don't spread yourself too thin; doing one job perfectly is better than being mediocre at two.

Simon has gone through a number of photographs available from the concert as well as some Facebook photographs of the attendees. As far as I can tell, there weren't any security cameras. But I'm not an expert. This might be more efficient with a facial-recognition system, but I don't know how to make one. If one of you can, that would be very useful, however anything that comes up as even a 25% match should go through one of us.

You are under no obligation to help, but it would be appreciated if you did. Please respond ASAP if you wish to be included, and I will send you what Simon has found so far as a starting point. I will created an open spreadsheet on the school's system so that everyone can keep the others apprised of their progress so that we aren't needlessly duplicating efforts.
