Dear Xavier's Students, Present and Past:
As the Xavier's School has been educating mutants for a few years now, many of us have moved on to live out in the world. Sadly, that's meant a necessary break--to one extent or another--with the growing network of mutants at the school. This is a loss for everyone, and at times like these, it's more important than ever for our community to stay connected regardless of physical distances.
With that in mind, two students, Shadowcat and Cypher, have created a secure forum for the entire community, alumni and current students alike. It's called X-Cape [link] and is run off of the X-statiX [
link] servers. It's been heavily beta tested and secured, but please feel free to direct any questions about safety practices to me, Shadowcat, or Cypher at will.
You're welcome to start or reply to a forum post at any time, whether you want to discuss serious mutant issues or the new pair of shoes you found yesterday. This is not meant to replace the Xavier's internal journal system, but to be a separate and wider-reaching mode of connection, and we hope you'll all take advantage of it. Everyone has a pre-made SN--the one you use/d at Xavier's, to keep things simple--and password which you'll be asked to change on your first log in.
A few rules:
-Discussions will no doubt become heated in some cases, and of course pranking is inevitable, but bullying and threats will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with anyone on the forums, please come to me; I will resolve it.
-Please keep this a safe space for under-18s. (Swearing doesn't count, no.)
-Please do not share any of this information with anyone who did not receive this email. This is our safe space for communication, and no-one else's.
