Subject: LXQ and JVX Body Armor

Hi guys!

Some of you may know, but for the past six months or so, I've been working on body armor for the teams! Some of the JVX crew may have seen (or worn) my prototypes on one of our recent rescues. The product is about as finished as it is going to get, without me continuously updating and improving it (which I'll probably do anyway), soooo this is a heads up to say, hey, you're getting body armor.

This means that Magik and I want to get your ideas for what you would like your armor to look like. It's all gonna be made of the same material, and will generally be the same style. They'll have to be mostly black, with an X somewhere on the armor - that's Scott's call, because as much as it's body armor, it's also kind of a uniform too. However, there's a lot of room for creative license, so email me back and let me know what you'd like yours to look like, and maybe we can set up a time to take measurements and work out the details!

Can I get a luchador-style mask to go with mine? With like a big X on the forehead or something like that? Also you can skip the shirt, just pants will work fine for me.

Rockslide, because of your mutation I will not insist on a shirt. You are also welcome to have a mask. I would have to see the size of this "big X" you would like on the forehead, though, before anything was made. I am primarily concerned that it might create an obvious target on your body that we'd rather not give anyone.

I'm not real worried about making myself a target. Shooting me in the forehead probably won't do much. Seriously, we can test it sometime if you're worried.

If anything, because of my mutation, it's better that people shoot me rather than anyone else.

But more seriously, don't really care on how big or small the X is. It might kinda look cool if it like, went over my eyes, though.

Sooo are we talking ORIGINAL Tron or the new one? And like, actual light up, or just neon blue?

I'm figuring probably Legacy. Either one would probably go with my armor, but I think I like the idea of the neon blue with the black. And...nah, no actual lighting up. Maybe just reflective so it looks like it lights up?

How stealthy are we supposed to be making these?

If I am going to have armor at all, it needs to be something that conceals my identity, so I will need a mask. Also, while I appreciate the necessity of armor, I'd also like some kind of tunic, to catch stains and be capable of being washed. Perhaps something like this:

The mask can be open in the back - maybe just elastic pull-on over my face, so I can push it up for detail work. Let me know when you need me to drop by for measurements.

We can do this! It should just be a strip of cloth that goes over your head over the armor anyway, not like a full tunic, so that's not such a big change. I'll ask Scott if the blue will be distracting, but the cloth shouldn't be a big deal. I can make it from the material I use on the lining so it will still be just as durable. The mask'll be easy too. Stop by whenever you're not on duty!

Well, mine needs to either have a head covering or a hijab worked into it? And...this is probably going to be tight, too, isn't it? So could I have some sort of coat? Just something that goes down and covers my bum.

Even if I never have to wear it outside of trying it on, that would be more comfortable for me.

I CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN. Um, But instead of a coat, which would be bulky, yep, what about kind of... hijab/ninja mask with a cloak that covers your backside? Kind of like this, but more covering on the face/neck?
