Subject: LXQ and JVX Body Armor

Hi guys!

Some of you may know, but for the past six months or so, I've been working on body armor for the teams! Some of the JVX crew may have seen (or worn) my prototypes on one of our recent rescues. The product is about as finished as it is going to get, without me continuously updating and improving it (which I'll probably do anyway), soooo this is a heads up to say, hey, you're getting body armor.

This means that Magik and I want to get your ideas for what you would like your armor to look like. It's all gonna be made of the same material, and will generally be the same style. They'll have to be mostly black, with an X somewhere on the armor - that's Scott's call, because as much as it's body armor, it's also kind of a uniform too. However, there's a lot of room for creative license, so email me back and let me know what you'd like yours to look like, and maybe we can set up a time to take measurements and work out the details!

So, this email is to inform you that you have been selected to beta test a new online community for mutants that X-statiX will be hosting. I know, I know...it is super bandwagony to tack the 'X' on to the team name, but with all of the "X-gene" hype going on right now, it's probably the fastest way to identify us as and for mutants.

Plus it is short and fits on a jacket easily.

Hello,

Now that most people have their upcoming schedules figured out, I think it would be beneficial for us to begin training. I've booked the Danger Room from 06:00 to 08:00 each morning. That is not to say that we will be using every single day, but to let you all know that it is available for your use at that time. If it works with everyone's schedules, I would like to begin on August 4.

In addition to beginning with training scenarios, we can also talk about how this team can and should move forward. For example, how often we should and feasibly can train. This is not the army, and not a dictatorship. I think that this team has the potential to do a great deal of good, so long as we take it seriously and give it the attention it deserves.
