Texts to River and Jeanne-Marie, Backdated to 3/13/14

Both of these texts take place during Jean-Paul's reaction to the Alpha Flight incident.


Simon: Where are you?

River: Swaying.

River: Nothing is coming.

River: Not yet.

River: I'm OK.

Simon: You're okay. Are you sure?

Simon: The house is probably going to be difficult for you right now. Do you need me?

River: He needs you.

River: You gave me my mandalas.

Simon: You know you always come first.

River: Not really.

River: I shouldn't.

River: I'm OK. He's zapping around inside his own mind.

River: And mine, a little.

Simon: Can you find someplace quieter? Can I come sit with you?

River: I'm OK.

River: Stay with him.

River: I'll go find Jeanne-Marie.

River: Let it pass through.

Simon: Yeah. That's a good idea. I need to stay here.

Simon: I'll come find you soon.

Simon: Jeanne-Marie, has someone told you about the dam break?

JM: Yes, I am watching it now.

JM: Where are you?

Simon: JP and I are in our room.

Simon: He was having a hard time watching it around everyone else.

JM: I should have thought of that. Is he okay? Do you want me there?

Simon: He'll be okay. I think it was just a shock...to us all. Are you alright?

JM: I am fine. Watching the coverage in the rec room.

JM: And yes, very shocked.

Simon: Minor crisis. River's coming to sit with you.

JM: Oh good!

JM: Jean-Paul is having a crisis? Let me know if you need us.

Simon: I may have mistakenly reminded him that you and he - specifically he - will be asked for his opinion on the matter by the public.

JM: Maybe we can convince him it will be another excuse to be bratty?

Simon: I don't think it will take much convincing. I'll contact you later.

JM: Okay, River is here now! Talk to you soon.
