It's the Ultra Beast Spartan Race in Vermont. 26+ miles of rills, running, and obsticles. There's barbed wire and fire. I'm so excited.

I'm thinking of spending the night at Lake Champlain afterwards, since I won't want to do anything but eat and sleep afterwards.

I suppose I had better post this while I'm still wound up. Then everybody else can help keep me awake until a sensible time to sleep.

Jet lag is awful.

Right. My name is Faiza Hussain and I've just arrived from the UK. Chelmsford, to be exact. It's all been kind of a whirlwind, but I'm here and in one piece. Missing home and parents, of course, but I'm pretty sure homesickness happens, right?

Seems I've arrived just at the end of school, though. I still had a month to go back home. Hadn't even gotten my GCSE scores yet.

I'm...honestly not certain what to talk about here. What is there to do for fun? I don't suppose anybody here plays cricket, though can we GET cricket on the TV?
