Don't think of it as entertainment. Think of it as useful exercises.
Sports teach teamwork, strategy, coordination, and keep you more fit in situations that are engaging and challenging.
That and the nerds can probably gather some statistics about some people, like how much they can lift, how hard they can throw a punch, how fast they can run, and stuff like that, in more real-life situations.
I don't know, I was just throwing it out there. I thought maybe some of the other kids would want to test themselves against the pros. Or that the nerds might enjoy the programming challenge.
