Relaying this while I'm on my way from home to Battersea, but a situation's come up over here in the UK.
I've just had a call off of Jay Guthrie in the last half hour saying that Sirius is in a bad way. He's been filming at Battersea Dogs Home for a new show over here and I don't think anybody realized that he never had his puppy shots. There's been an outbreak of parvovirus and Sirius has gotten hit with it. Along with a bunch of the puppies at Battersea. It's a pretty serious virus and that's why I'm on my way. I can't do much about the virus itself, but I should be able to mitigate the effects. Or...well, that's the theory we're working on at the moment. Right now, though, the virus has Sirius weak enough that he can't shift back.
Jay, as you might imagine, is pretty beside himself. The Potters (the family of Sirius's best friend in the UK and sort of his adoptive family) are keeping an eye on Jay and being there to support him as best they can. And they've already offered me a bed since it's a fair sight further back to Chelmsford from here than it would be to their place.
I'll probably be in and out of contact. I'll do my best to keep everybody updated, but my priority is going to be Sirius and the puppies. The first day or so is going to be critical so if I don't get back to you promptly, I'm just busy. I'll be back in contact soon.
