Hey, I saw some of y'all in classes today, but class isn't the best place to really get to know somebody, so here goes.

I'm Irvine Kinneas, from Montana. I'm a junior and I just showed up on Saturday, so I'm brand spanking new here.

Back home I did competitive shooting for a long time, till I figured out that I had to try harder to lose than to win. See, when I aim at something, I can't miss. Then when I started setting shit on fire without even pulling the trigger, that kind of killed my competitive career, you know? :D

Anyway, I'm pretty syked (?) about Equestrian later this week. Any y'all play basketball? My school back home was all hard up for hockey, but all those guys were big dumb boring zombies, I swear.

I'd beware talking shit on hockey. There's a pretty huge contingent of Canadians and they might start, I don't know. Maple syrup bombing you. But I agree, one too many body checks is not good for the brain. Basketball, yes. You will find many, many basketball-willing people here.

The hat is, like, a requirement where I'm from. You go out without your hat, you might as well have gone out without your pants. Not a problem for me, but you know, the moms, they object.

I don't know, man, being bombed with maple syrup sounds like a way better time than I ever had at my old school!

Jeanne-Marie, that is one beautiful name. Point of fact, it's two beautiful names in one.

Pretty much for most of the time, it was just aim. I could hit it if I could see it, right? I didn't think it was actually a superpower, I just figured it wasn't exactly fair to the rest of the world. :) The energy projection thing came later. I figured out I was a mutant about the same time the whole world found out about Warren Worthington and Brian Braddock. So that was a good time at my house, let me tell you.

I got nothing against hockey as a sport, mostly just against the hockey zombies who couldn't talk about nothing else!

You know, I'm not sure the NBA's ever come down on the question of handsprings, and if it's not in the rules I'm inclined to allow it.

You've got to keep one hand on the ball and keep dribbling if you're in possession, though, else that's definitely traveling!
