Greetings,

My name is Benton Fraser. I first discovered my 'mutant ability' six months ago, and for reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture I've accepted the faculty's invitation to help develop this skill in a scholastic environment. I originally hail from Inuvik, and have up until this point lived in various locations in the Northwest Territories. This is my first time studying in a formal academic setting, as well as my first time in the United States. I look forward to making everyone's acquaintance and attending classes with you.

What's your 'skill'? Or are you one of those who's touchy about it?

I have been as far as Alert, so my heart goes out to all of the frozen north. Pardon me for not knowing etiquette regarding powers. I am not touchy about it, as I did not realize it was even a power until I met the headmasters. It has been described as "enhanced perception". I am very skilled at deducing things based on my senses.

Also, I can see ghosts, to some degree. That perhaps is a more complicated issue.

It has been convenient for tracking, I assume. It's very hard to tell sometimes if my observations are normal, or if they enhanced by my ability. And more people who have seen spirits? That's good to hear.
