Got a favor to ask. Curtis and I are heading into the city tomorrow for the Rizzle Kicks concert. Probably minimal security risk at best, but given the Facility's history on this matter, it's better to be prepared. Both Curtis and I have history with them in play as well, so if they are operating in the area, we're targets they'd recognize.

I've swiped a panic button from Claudia's workshop which, if activated, will act as a beacon; I've set it up to send the coordinates to you. Think you can keep a remote eye on us, let me know if there's anyone suspicious paying too much attention, etc?

Captain,

I have noted your absence. I have noted the absence of many of my friends and acquaintances from the Institute. Make of this what you will.

As to your request, I am prepared to comply. I do find it peculiar that you would request to be kept under surveillance during your outing; circumstances more often oblige me to observe residents of the Institute covertly when they remove themselves from the relative safety of the school grounds. I continue to observe, however, whether invited to do so or not.

If I note any attention I deem excessive or peculiar, I will alert you at once. And I will make a point of being near enough at hand to intervene directly, should the need arise.

I'd hate for a Christmas present to land us in unfriendly hands - or in an absolutely worst case scenario, leading them to the school. You and I know better than most how important that protection is. (On that note, have I mentioned recently how glad I am that you're on our side?)

FYI, Curtis isn't in the loop on security, just a fun night out for him. No real need to mention it, right?
