Hey, guys.

So, Cal came to me with a question. Apparently the holographic inducers that some of the students with extreme physical mutations use (you guys probably know more about those than me) have a really crappy battery life. Like, two hours kind of crappy. And it really sucks because those are the only way that some of them can get off campus.

Anyway, I'm not that good with batteries myself, but we've got a lot of sciencey people here and Cal and I were thinking that if we all put our heads together, we'd probably be able to come up with something that would work a lot better than the current ones do. And, you know. If we managed to improve the entire set up, I'm sure none of the students who use them would complain.

Sound like something you guys might be interested in?

Actually, they have a battery life of four hours, but yeah, they can be improved. Some of the image clipping problems need upgrading too, since they're like, two years old at this point which is ANCIENT for technology. I have some ideas, but I'll let the others chime in.

My bad on the battery life. Vic didn't actually give me an exact figure. The overall feeling I got was: too short.

Anyway, let me know if you don't mind me hanging around you and working on this - on my own, I'd be pretty useless, but around any of you, bring it on.

Could probably stand to rework the holograms a little too while we're at it. I'm pretty sure we can get more than four hours out of the batteries easy, but I'd have to take a look at the actual thingies before I give too many pronouncements.

Cal and I are talking to the headmasters to get one that's not in use, plus the blueprints. I don't think it should be too difficult. I mean, it's a perfectly logical project for us to pick up, right?
