Hi, I'm Sokka, new student. I thought I knew what to say here, but now that I'm typing my mind is a blank. Crap.

Right. I'm 15 and I'm from Barrow, Alaska. No, we don't actually have thirty days of night. It's more like two months of mostly-twilight. Also, no vampires, but they're still missing out on a good buffet opportunity up there in winter, am I right?

Just kidding, bad idea. Everyone in Barrow is packing. My sixty-year-old Aaka owns more guns than the Nuge. Might wanna try somewhere less painful, bloodsucking hell-demons.

I think I'm supposed to say I'm happy to be here, but mostly I'm just weirded out. Might be the jet lag talking, but also. Weird.
