Okay, so I guess I'm supposed to use this thing to introduce myself? I'm still at the airport, waiting on a cab that's supposed to take me to this "school" that's supposed to be so helpful to mutants. Bloody waste of time if you ask me. Anyway, my name is Jonothan Starsmore. If you watch National Geographic at all, you'll know my parents, Jack and Marianne, the "controversial" archaeologists who think that every urban legend can be traced back to mutants. Guess they finally got one right.

Not sure what else I'm supposed to say here. I'll be there in probably an hour, so there's that, I suppose. I've only got just the two bags, so I'll need to take a trip into town to pick up a few things.

Hi everyone. I'm Blaine Anderson, I just got in late last night so I haven't really met many people yet. Anyway, I'm sixteen, and from New Albany, Ohio. As far as interests go, my favorite subjects are music and English, and I like music, sports, show choir and theater.

That's all I can think of for now. Trying to talk about yourself on these things is always so weird. Does anyone here play any instruments?

As it seems like introductions are the order of the day, for those of you not telepathic, my name is Simon Tam, currently in 101 West. I'm usually studying, but if it seems I'm not busy, then I'd be happy to say hello.

I'm sixteen, and I don't pay much attention to music beyond what my sister both plays and sings around the house at home. I run in the morning, but I've never had the time for sports. I enjoy reading and I'm something of a history buff.

I've never had an 'online journal' before, so this is a first. But here goes. My name is Paige Guthrie, I'm sixteen, and I arrived a few days ago from Kentucky. I don't know what to expect here, but I've found the library and my room (102 East with Lil, who isn't that tall) and the track, so if you're looking for me that's probably where you'll find me. I'm looking for a job too, but nobody's hired me yet. I guess I don't speak 'barista' very well.

Well now that you all have settled in and are probably snuggling in your cozy beds. I’ve decided to actually introduce myself. I’m Emma Frost, the taller, more attractive blonde living in 101 East. I guess Xavier thought that the blondes should stick together even though I specifically requested a single room.

Oh let’s see what other trivial details I can throw at you while trying to seem interested in what any of you actually think about me. I’m 17 and from Boston, Massachusetts, and I’m an heiress to a vast fortune. My favorite color is white, I wear Dior perfume, and I have the tendency to wear thigh high boots and miniskirts.

Like one of our dear headmasters, I am a telepath. Don’t worry; Xavier already gave me his song and dance about only using my abilities when given permission. We’ll see how well that goes for me and for you.
